Join us as an Exhibitor at the 17th National Conference on Learning Disabilities which will be held in Whitehorse, Yukon.
The conference is expected to attract over 400 delegates consisting of persons with learning disabilities, parents, teachers, administrators, early childhood educators, students, health professionals, social and justice workers, and others interested in the field of learning disabilities.
Trade Show Location:
The trade show will be held at the conference host facility, the Yukon Convention Centre.
Exhibits will be located next to the Plenary session area and buffet tables for breaks and meals will be located in the exhibit area. To see a map of the site layout click here.
The Yukon Convention Centre, is located in downtown Whitehorse. It is immediately next to the High County Inn where breakout sessions will take place and is within walking distance (approximately 4 blocks) from the Downtown core. A block of rooms has been reserved at the High Country Inn and other accommodation facilities in the Downtown core. Please see the accommodation page on this website for specifics.

Trade Show Hours of Operation:
Following is a list of times at which Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to be available at their booths. These times correspond with refreshment and meal breaks when the most number of delegates will be on site. Please note that timelines correspond with daily activities and as such may vary when the Agenda is finalized – please check the Agenda closer to the conference date. Attendance at booths other than that noted on the schedule below is at the exhibitor’s discretion. Please see the conference Agenda for additional planning.

Exhibit Specifics
- Each booth dimension is 10' wide x 8' deep.
- Booths will be divided by BLUE pipe and drape. The pipe and drape backdrop will be 10' high. Dividers (between booths) will be 3' high.
- One 8’ x 4’ table (skirted with white linen) will be provided for each booth and 1-2 chairs.
- Electricity will be available for booths; exhibitors should bring their own extension cords.
- Wireless Internet is available at no additional charge – should you require it you will be given a password during set-up.
- Exhibitors must provide their own laptop (equipped with wireless internet software if internet access required), LCD projectors and other support equipment.
- A limited selection of audio/visual equipment will be available for rental from local suppliers (listed below).

Signage:
There will be directional signage and basic paper signage at each booth which will include the organization name and booth number only. Exhibitors are responsible for any additional signage.
Security:
There will be limited security offered: Overnight on Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25, 2009 only. Exhibitors are advised to take the appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of equipment. Exhibitors must sign a liability waiver form (which will be emailed with the registration confirmation) to participate.

Rates:
Due to space limitations exhibit space will be limited to 20 booths. Space will be limited to 1 booth per exhibitor, sold on a first come first served basis.
